Mr. Sanjit Bakshi
Leads Oriental Structural Engineers as a Director. Instrumental in growth and strengthening of the company’s profile. Responsible for conceptualizing, analyzing and successful implementation of the BOT-PPP business model based Projects in Oriental. During the last 11 Years, has spearheaded the growth of BOT (Build, Operate, Transfer) portfolio of the company to a US$2.00 Billion Asset base and this is poised to add a steady revenue stream to the Company in the present & next decade. Oversees the execution of the entire EPC projects of the company. Enabled, Company’s diversification through the development of Coal Mining Business which has also seen steady execution and achieved targeted revenue realization under his leadership.

Mr Ranveer Sharma
RANVEER SHARMA aged 45 years is an Investor Director on the Board of the Investment Manager and an experienced business leader with a successful record of transforming and growing businesses in a number of sectors.
Mr. Ranveer Sharma is Managing Director at Vaillant Capital Partners, a specialist investment management and advisory firm focused on a select group of institutional investors and family offices for foreign direct investments in India across Infrastructure, Real Estate, Manufacturing, and FMCG sectors.
Previously, Mr. Sharma was Managing Director and India Head of UK based Eredene Capital PLC, a specialist investor in Indian infrastructure with a major focus on ports, logistics, warehousing, transportation, and real estate sectors.
Mr. Sharma has extensive experience of operating at the Board level and has held many interim roles in portfolio companies. His particular strengths are in strategy, performance improvements, and corporate turnarounds. He possesses a strong knowledge of the governing bylaws and has wide experience in creating and implementing company policies, procedures, and corporate governance standards.
Mr. Surinder Singh Kohli
Chairman & Managing Director of India Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd. (IIFCL), A wholly Government of India owned company for a period of four years i.e. from 2006-10, IIFCL engaged in the promotion and development of infrastructure and commenced its operations during that period. IIFCL covered a niche for itself in financing infrastructure projects. The support of IIFCL helped in the speedier achievement of financial closure of infrastructure projects in sectors like highways, airports, seaports, power, etc. for a longer tenure than banks. IIFCL has been conferred with the “Most admired Infrastructure Financier 2010” by KPMG-infrastructure. Taking the initiative further, IIFCL had set up of IIFC (UK) Ltd, a wholly owned off-shore subsidiary in 2008 in London. The subsidiary is providing foreign currency loans to Indian companies engaged in the development of infrastructure to meet their capital expenditure in India. Both the companies were established by him.
Had long experience as a banker over 40 years. Held position of Chairman and Managing Director of Punjab National Bank from 2000 to 2005. PNB was one of the largest public sector banks in India during that period. Undertook total transformation of the bank. PNB became a techno-savvy bank by implementing core banking solution and introducing various technology-based products and services. PNB became the Number One bank among the nationalized banks in terms of assets, asset quality, technology, profit after tax and Return on assets. PNB also emerged as one of India’s Most Trusted Brands. PNB Group floated three public offerings of capital during that period which were highly successful.
He was also the Chairman of PNB Housing Finance (2000-2001) and PNB Gilts(2000-2005) during that period. Held position of Chairman and Managing Director of SIDBI during 2000-2001. During that period, various schemes including the Credit Guarantee Scheme for the financing of small and medium enterprises were launched. Started his career in Punjab & Sind Bank in 1970 and rose to the position of Chairman and Managing Director and that tenure lasted till 2000. In fact, in his tenure, Bank transformed into a Profitable Bank against the loss-making bank.
Mr. Deepak Dasgupta
Mr. Deepak Dasgupta is a retired IAS officer of the 1966 batch from the Haryana cadre. In the State, he held the usual district appointments and was also Secretary PWD and Secretary Health. He has been in the Finance and Defence Ministries at the Centre and was also Joint Secretary and Additional Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat. From May 1997 to December 2002, he was the Chairman, NHAI where he helped launching the iconic National Highways Development Project which completely changed the highways scenario in India.
Post-retirement has been an Advisor to the Asian Development Bank and Member of the Senior Expert Committee of IDFC Private Equity Fund and the Special Task Force on Bihar. He has been an independent director on the boards of some infrastructure companies including as non-executive chairman of IL&FS Transportation Networks Ltd and some of its subsidiaries. Presently he is an independent director on the boards of IJM(India) Infrastructure Ltd and IJM Lingamaneni Township Pvt Ltd. He has done a Masters in Mathematics from the St Stephen’s College and Delhi University where he also played cricket and captained both the College and University teams. He has also done a one year course (1984) at the National Defence College, Delhi.
Mr Ajit M. Sharan
Mr Ajit M. Sharan is a graduate of IIT Delhi and has done a Masters in Business Administration from Louisiana State University in the US. He also possesses a Masters in Development Economics from the University of Wales in UK. As a Member of the Indian Administrative Service since 1979, Mr. Ajit M. Sharan has held a variety of senior assignments in the Govt. of Haryana as well as in the Govt. of India and has diverse experience in various sectors. He has also played an important role in the promotion and development of MSME, Banking and the Insurance Sector in India.
Mr. Sharan has also worked at the strategy and leadership level in the sectors of energy, government finances, health and sports in the capacity of Principal Secretary/Secretary to Government. In almost all the assignments, Mr. Sharan’s main mandate has been formulation and implementation of policies in the relevant sector and providing strategic leadership to the organization.
Held the positions of Principal Secretary for Power, Finance, Technical Education and Urban Development in the State. Worked at the strategy and leadership level in the sectors of energy, government finances, health, and sports. Onboard of several companies including Dabur India Limited, one of the largest FMCG companies in India and Capri Global Capital Limited engaged in the business of providing financial services.
Ms. Pravin Tripathi
Ms. Pravin Tripathi aged 73 years, is a former Indian Audit & Accounts Services (IAAS) Officer of the 1973 batch with more than four decades of experience in the field of Audit & Accounts. She held various senior positions, including that of Deputy Comptroller & Audit General of India and Chairperson of Audit Board, Member of the Competition Appellate Tribunal, Member of the Economic Regulatory Authority Appellate Tribunal and Chief Auditor and Municipal Corporation of Delhi, among others.
She has has handled diverse responsibilities in setting up the Competition Appellate Tribunal. She is a Board member of different companies and gained wider perspective and knowledge of the Company Law, Indian Accounting Standards, SEBI Regulations and RBI Guidelines.
